BREAKING UPDATE:
Trump famously scheduled town hall meetings during Republican debates during the 2024 primaries. There’s a theory that he can’t stand to be out of the spotlight for too long because he has a dysfunctional ego. He has been invited to speak at funerals and he somehow attempts to make the topic of discussion about himself. He has upstaged athletes and taken their trophies and medals. He has done countless things deemed to be narcissistic. Tonight, at 6:34pm Eastern time, NASA will launch Artemis II with four astronauts to the Moon. Though they will not land, it’s the first time a manned mission has headed to the Moon in 50 years. Trump plans to speak a half hour before the launch. He likely will be speaking at the moment Artemis II leaves the launch pad. Considering his history, is this peculiar timing to address the nation? The Iran War is a big deal, but is it possible his narcissism has kicked in and tried to compete with NASA and the Moon program?
