Keep in mind that for years, Fox News has rigged and edited stories on his behalf, doing everything they could to have him in the White House. Most notably, they went along with his “the election was rigged” tantrum after he lost against Biden in November of 2020. Fox News was even ordered to pay $787 million because of this. Regardless, Trump’s MO is to categorically deny, then counter-attack. Right as the world was calling him a pussy for chickening out of the 60 Minutes interview, he decided to turn the tables. Every news channel does editing. It’s our understanding at Never Trump Blog that Kamala Harris responded to a question regarding Israel when she did her own 60 Minutes interview. 60 Minutes featured one part of her answer during a promo, and another part of her answer during the eventual official aired interview. Trump threw a tantrum, though, because the promo didn’t line up with what was later aired. Joe Rogan, though he seems to be shying away from MAGA lately, tripped out on this when he recently interviewed Bernie Sanders. You can turn Fox News on at this very moment, and you can catch them rigging a narrative favorable for Trump, and damaging to Democrats. This very moment! It’s July right now, and if you read this in August, September, October, or November, this will be true! They are rigging facts and twisting them around so Trump could possibly look competent, when no one else believes he’s a decent person. Trump, instead of championing the Constitution and the First Amendment, threw a hissy fit and sued CBS for the 60 Minutes piece. Yes, it’s sad that CBS and ABC folded when they were sued, and when they settled. Stephen Colbert criticized his employer, and now he’s being cancelled. That’s today’s world. Sometimes, media giants are explicit about why they let people go. Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon were fired on the same day from different networks, keep in mind, and Tucker Carlson said he was never given an explanation as to why even though his ratings were high. With CBS, Stephen Colbert has been at the top of his market, but it looks like the brass is pivoting to an explanation that says the times have changed, and late night talk shows aren’t as en vogue as much as they used to be.
