Keep in mind that Hitler’s top propagandist, Joseph Goebbels, would have been tried if he didn’t commit suicide. Hitler’s top generals were tried, though. Hermann Göring, Karl Dönitz, Erich Raeder, Wilhelm Keitel, and Alfred Jodl were a few of them. Donald Trump needs authorization from Congress to strike Venezuela. During the First Gulf War, the United States made a case to the United Nations against Iraq and garnered physical support from multiple nations. For the Second Gulf War, the support wasn’t as strong and there was no UN resolution. The US proceeded with the Coalition of the Willing. In George W Bush’s administration, Colin Powell presented his argument to Congress. This included aerial photos he claimed were weapons of mass destruction. Of course, no WMDs were discovered, but the point is they at least tried to make a case. Now? Disregard for the Constitution, Congress, and the War Powers Resolution. More Hegseth Turmoil, part III. It’s clear that MAGA went insane after Joe Biden defeated Donald Trump in the 2020 election. The clearest visible sign of this was on January 6, 2021 when a mob stormed the Capitol to stop a peaceful transfer of power. Their insanity has not subsided, and ir’s shown in this Fox News clip. @4:03 They give a little lip service to consulting Congress about the acts of war, but not a whole lot. The moderator is a Barbi who says nothing about the Constitution, and she pretends the violence is about fentanyl coming from Venezuela on fishing boats. Why is Trump planning to pardon the former president of Hondorus if he cares about stopping the drug trade? The answer is simple. This is not about drugs. It’s about Venezuela’s oil. So the MAGA side has gone insane, and nothing they do is about pure logic. They should heed a warning. As of now, “the other side” is still trying to play by the rules. They are citing the Constitution, and various statutes, when they justify their behavior. Many, many people have noted the same thing in recent weeks. There will be a time in the near future when MAGA is no longer in control. This could start in 2026. At this point, they will have to rely on the mercy of the decent people who come to the majority in Congress, and perhaps to the presidency in 2028. MAGA, and their accomplices at Fox News, better hope “the other side” does not become as insane as they did. Otherwise, there will be big names heading to Guantanamo Bay. That would be sad, but how is anybody supposed to forgive their psychotic war crimes??
